The theme of World Population Day 2008 is "Family Planning: It's a Right; Let's Make it Real"Focus for this year World Population Day commemoration is to provide a chance to raise awareness of the many benefits of family planning, including its vital role in enhancing maternal health, gender equality and poverty reduction.
One thing might need to be add further is family planning need to be emphasized in today's era not only aim for "quantity" but we should aim for "quality" of individual and or family as the world citizen. Malthus postulate might be loss the battle, but his main idea still possibly knock our door of future in different form.
