No title

Membeku niat ketika setiap pertanyaan menjadi kelam.

Terasa sekali pola pikir liar kebingungan.

Join the Indonesia Unite

I am officially join the Indonesia Unite. By doing this, I am not only gathering in a group who have similar understanding about how we deal with terrorism. I also believe that by keep our positive thinking and never ending effort to promote peace as well as mutual understanding about how to defense our "peaceful" spirit of Indonesia, we will be able to stand up proudly as Indonesian citizen.

We are a citizen of a big country, and we will not easily being threaten by terrorist. And who ever try out our spirit with their coward deeds of terror and fears attack, will receive never ending effort and struggle to promote more peace from our Indonesian brothers and sisters.

Don't be afraid, mate!

Last weekend, I have small conversation with friends who was becoming afraid to visit Indonesia after last Jakarta booming incident. They - a couple - wish to visit Bali and probably some other places in Indonesia, but due to the booming they received travel warning from their government and they decided to re-schedule their trip as well as their destination.

Well, I feel sorry for them but I understand their situation and feeling. The best thing I can say to them are as follow:

We can not be sure if all part of Indonesia is dangerous. And it is pretty sure that in all over the world there is always a small possible dangerous thing to happen, including small traffic accident or stomach ache if you eat hot-spices food. But, I believe that Indonesia in general still a save place to visit.
If you feel that your people become target of terrorist as many expert - and your government - believed to be so, then I strongly recommend you not to visit and hang around the most common tourist site, such as famous beaches, big hotels and cafes, as well as malls and shopping centers. Instead, you should come, visit and enjoy our local people as well as their traditional activities. By doing this, you are not only able to witness how peaceful Indonesia is but also helping more Indonesian with their business.
Try to get information from local airport staff or taxi driver on any cheap but decent motels or cottages which close to local community. Visit their traditional markets and interact with them. I can guarantee you will get the most peaceful and friendship welcoming atmosphere from Indonesian people - children, youth, worker class group and elderly - on your visit to Indonesia.
If you do follow my suggestion, I can guarantee you that Indonesia is not as dangerous as you and your government think of. And if you really at the end visit Indonesia, I believe you will find out that Indonesia is a beautiful country with kind and great people who will always love peace and friendship with every people from around the world. So, don't be afraid, mate! You will be save.
Do I already sound like promotor for Indonesia Visit 2010?

Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen

"I am Optimus Prime, and I send this message so that our past will always be remembered. For in those memories, we live on".

My first impression is: great robot story BUT with too (quoting my wifey words) "corny" human story.

Transformers 2 is good movie. For me, it is quite as expected since one of the executive producer is Steven Spielberg. The robot fights and variations served us with more complicated and more fantasies at the same time. There are several new robots and it make us confused. Well, for me I know a bit better to recognize them as Transformers animation is one of my childhood favorite movie. If you are one of Transformers fans, than this movie is not bad to watch. Just to enlighten our dream about cool-cars-robots.

However, I am a bit annoying by the human story. They act corny with too many sensual stuff. I am really disappointed to witness Megan Fox (as Mikaela Banes) at the first scene of this movie acting "out of my sense". How come she paint brushed a motorcycle tank with seductive view? Totally strange and unnecessarily attractive. She made several sensual poses in the movie and somehow it undercast her true-quality acting. There are more scene and setting that made me think, maybe we do not need human in Transformers. Let's the robot owned their screen by themselves.

Excel: Our cherrie from "the market for lemon"

Meet our new family member. Her name is Excel, originally from Hyundai Excel. This is the evidence of our participation in 'the market for lemon'. Although we got her from such market, she is not a lemon instead she is a cherrie. Yes, indeed. She is quite a good and well conditioned used car, and we felt in love at the first time we saw her. And lately, she's already become important part of our daily routines in Canberra.

We consider Excel as cherrie due to several aspects that to some extent able to cope the problems of lemons market. First, the previous owner provide us with all information regarding Excel's past history. We know that she is the first hand car and regularly serviced in local authorized service center from her complete records, including service billing expenses. She also looks good in condition, started from external (paint colour, for example) as well as interior conditions (cleanliness on dashboard, door trim, etc).

Second, the previous owner also fair enough by revealing some of Excel's "unfortunate" conditions. Such conditions including some scratch in front bumper, broken handle at the back chair, and several minors. All of those problems definitely will not affecting Excel's performance and other can be solved by purchasing the parts at the service center. It is not necessarily to do very soon.

In respect to first and second reasons, Excel's previous owner succeed to diminish the asymmetrical information with respect to Excel quality. In this case, we certainly sure that Excel is not "perfectly" lemon. And since she is already become our family member, we will consider her as "Excel the cherrie". You are all welcome to ask for her ride when you have a chance.
